Tyler VanBruggen, AFIS, CPIA, Agent
I started my agency after graduating from North Dakota State University in 2006. My wife Angela is a teacher at Valley City Jr. High School. We have 3 daughters, Kylie, Maya, Harper and a dog Bailey. Sandy Brandvold, CSR
Sandy has been working with Tyler since 2017. Her husband Mark works at Valley Plains equipment. Together, they raised their 3 children Adam, Paige and Matthew here in Valley City. She is the friendly face you see when you stop in or the voice you hear on the phone. She looks forward to assisting you. Brian Yanish, Agent
Brian began with Farmers Union Insurance July 1st, 2024. He runs his insurance agency out of the same office building as Tyler. Sandy assists both Tyler and Brian as a customer service represntitive as well. Brian was born and raised in Valley City and has a wife Brooke, and 2 kids Taylor and Rider. If Tyler and Sandy are busy or on the other line, Brian is happy to assist you as well.
Jason Smith, Health Insurance Agent
Jason lives in Bismarck, ND. He serves the Valley City agency as well as a couple other Farmers Union Insurance agencies by writing their individual, family, and group health insurance plans. Mike Tweten, Supplemental Benefits Insurance Agent
Mike lives in Hillsboro. Like Jason, he serves the Valley City Agency along with a couple other agencies as well. Mike works in the area of supplemental benefits. Cancer, Dental, Vision, Disability, Critical Illness, Accident are just a few of the types of coverages that Mike helps us with. Landon Piehl, Marketing Intern
Landon was born and raised on a family farm just west of Marion, North Dakota and graduated from LaMoure High School in 2022. He is a Junior at Valley City State University, majoring in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing. Landon's duties include overseeing our marketing as well as assisting with customer service duties where needed. Landon's current schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30-5:00 and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 11:00-1:00. He can be reached at 701-845-2314.
